Hi there!
Often times, i have asked myself why i left Nigeria, afterall i was working with Novartis, had a brand new car and driver that was paid for, and i was making about 150k/ month.My official answer is that its because i think the Pharmacy career in Nigeria is boring and i am hoping i could do something more interesting here.In reality its because i am hoping against all hopes that when i get here, i would make better pay, after all i heard pharmacist make 60k/ year here?Also i am hoping to raise my family here..You know all the opportunities a citizen of the 1st world has over being Nigerian i suppose.
The truth is that you need to have a clear cut reason why you want to leave, truth is your reasoning wont often change 6 months into living in another country, but you gotta have something to work with.
Do you just want to get education and come back home because of promotion at work? are you just bored out of your mind like me? money reason? or you have the "I have to get out of Nigeria"syndrome. Whatever your reasons are you gotta have one because that kinda decides for you which of the countries you would like to go to.
